Financial Accountant  

Job Context

This role is acting as sole accountant responsible for all daily aspects of finance and accounting matters reporting to the Managing Director. Additionally, you will be responsible for the financial and accounting side of expansion projects and general assistance with growing the business. It is ideally suited to someone with experience of high-value asset based companies.

Specific Duties and responsibilities:

Control all statutory requirements

• Taxation, Audit, Legal, VAT

Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting on a timely basis.

• Variance analysis of monthly/annual results against prior year and budget.
• Prepare regular P&L forecasts

Reconciliation of Nominal Ledger

• Monthly reconciliation and settlement of inter-company accounts.
• Monthly reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts

Responsible to ensure the accuracy and integrity of P/L and S/L.

• Bookkeeping of Sales invoices
• Timely collection of creditor receivables.
• Bookkeeping of Supplier invoices
• Timely payment to suppliers

Ensure financial transactions are accounted for on a timely basis.

• Include cash transactions, accruals, advances, loans, payroll and prepayments on a monthly basis.

Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.

Daily management of treasury functions.

• Cash Management
• Bonding and/or deposit requirements

Preparation of year-end files and liaising with auditors.

Responsible for Fixed Asset Register.

Preparation of annual budgets.

Associated administration bridging operations and accounts.

Essential attributes:

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to handle problems quickly and efficiently

Desired attributes:

• Knowledge of CODA

Coach Driver Recruitment

Due to our continued expansion and the run up to the London Olympics we are currently inviting applications for a number of coach driving positions based at our London branch.

Our requirements for drivers has increased to nearly double the current levels and we can offer full-time, part-time and seasonal contracts with start dates of January, February, March and April. There is also a generous bonus of 10% which will accrue from January and will be paid in October 2012.
