City Circle Environment Care

At City Circle Limited we take our environmental responsibility very seriously. Coaches are large vehicles which have to produce a level of emissions - we cannot yet get round that fact. However, it is worth noting that a group of people, travelling by coach produces considerably less carbon emissions than the same group travelling by cars.

We consider the most responsible course of action for us to take is to use the most environmentally friendly and lowest emission vehicles, with the latest technology that is available today. Most of our vehicles are under two years old and all are certified to the Euro 4 or Euro 5 emission standard. These European standards define the acceptable limits for exhaust emissions of new vehicles sold in EU member states. The emission standards are defined in a series of European Union directives, staging the progressive introduction of increasingly stringent  requirements. Euro 5 is currently the highest level specification available to meet.
